Absorbel Nop is an open cell polyurethane foam with a decorative studded surface, possibly foresee of polyurethane protective layer (PU).

Absorbel Nop has a grey colour and is suitable for indoor use.

Extra information

  • High sound absorbing value

  • No skin irritation or dust formation during processing

  • Flame retardant in accordance with DIN 53438, MVSS 302

  • Easy to cut with a (Stanley) knife or with scissors

  • Resistant to aging, hydrolysis and temperatures from -50 to 100 °C

Installation guidelines
  • Application: Wherever sound absorption needs to be applied without the risk of moisture, oil, etc. penetrating; in these cases the use of coated absorption foam is recommended.
  • Processing:
    • Glue non-self-adhesive panels to the foam side with contact adhesive TEROKAL-2444 (approx. 300 g/m²)
    • The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease.
    • In the case of a rough or porous surface (e.g. wood, stone), we recommend priming with the contact adhesive TEROKAL-2444.
    • Careful pressing and rolling ensures good adhesion.
    • Do not process panels at temperatures below 10 °C.
