EKAFOL bends and elbows with reinforcing ribs or with welded seam along their back. S-shape = German definition for welded pipe fittings with standard radius 1,5D (Norm 3); W-shape = German definition for short radius pipe fittings. 

Installation guidelines

EKAFOL form parts are used for indoor applications to cover various types of insulated fittings, elbows. EKAFOL is a rigid PVC cover, designed for the protection of insulated equipment, such as pipes and valves, against mechanical abuse, abrasion and penetrating moisture. Given its high quality structure, Ekafol is impact resistant, impermeable to water and impervious to gases, grease and oil. The foil is physiological harmless and can be used in food plants and food storage. It should, however, not be exposed to constant ultra-violet radiation!
