The HBT fire protection mortar M3 is a factory-mixed mineral dry mortar based on dried sands and mineral binders. It is used for fire protection sealing of openings in ceilings and walls. The fire protection mortar is particularly impressive with its productivity, it shrinks and does not crack and connects particularly well with the solid components to be sealed.

The fire protection mortar can be finished on the surface immediately after it has been placed in the component openings. If the consistency of the fire protection mortar is correct, it is not necessary to rework the surface. The applied fire protection mortar remains stable in volume, no settling, no shrinkage and no cracking.

Installation guidelines

Bulkhead mortar for fire dampers in solid and lightweight walls. Joint gaps at and between fire dampers of all common sizes and shapes of 40cm and more are possible without any problems and successfully tested in fire tests. The fire protection mortar is also used as frame grouting mortar, slot mortar, anchor pocket mortar and layer joint mortar for wood and solid construction elements.
