Compressible polyurethane-based joint tape with halogen-free fire protection additives that intumesces in the event of fire.

The ZZ 530 fire protection joint seal is simply inserted into the joint with the prescribed oversize. Thanks to its elastic structure, it can compensate for expansion movements of up to 25%. No bonding to the building component is required for installation of the ZZ 530 fire protection joint seal. Optionally, an additional sealant can be applied as a finish (e.g. silicone OTTOSEAL S 115 or acrylic OTTOSEAL A 207).

Installation guidelines

The ZZ 530 fire protection joint sealant (ZZ-Fugenband NE) is simply pushed into the joint from both sides with the prescribed oversize. Thanks to its elastic structure, it can compensate for expansion movements of up to 25%. For the installation of the ZZ 530 fire protection joint seal (ZZ-Fugenband NE), no bonding to the building component is required. Optionally, an additional sealant can be applied as a closure (e.g. silicone OTTOSEAL S 115 or acrylic OTTOSEAL A 207).
